Concept Art – Tomorrowland

There are, of course, exceptions to every rule. I wouldn’t want this one hanging up on my wall but I love the movement in the image so I had to share it.

Hench said, “Optimism shaped our design philosophy and was often expressed in the parks’ visual and kinetic rhythms. In this sketch, I wanted to add the activity of the waterfalls to the five levels of constant action provided by the modes of transportation in and around the Lagoon (including the submarine both above and below the water).” (from Designing Disney: Imagineering the Art of the Show)
